Meet our production partner, SOKO Kenya! Based in Kikambala on the Kenyan coast, they are an ethical manufacturer that truly embraces a fair, kind and transparent work culture. In addition to paying above living wages, SOKO provides employees with paid leave and stipends for family emergencies, free pre-primary childcare for all employees with children from ages 2-4, daily mid-morning tea and midday lunch, and clear, outlined processes for job advancement. These values extend to the workspace itself, which is open, airy and bright. It’s truly a privilege to work with the SOKO team, and we invite you to learn more about the stitching process here!
We're really proud to be working with Sasha, India's oldest fair trade cooperative to source ethically grown linen and cotton and to work with their experienced weavers in West Bengal to make these textiles. Learn more about these fabrics here!
Woven by India's oldest certified fair-trade artisanal weaving cooperative in West Bengal, these textiles are a dream! Each fabric is a hand-loomed blend of cotton and linen. We chose this blend for two reasons: 1) to create subtle texture and movement within the weave; and (more practically) 2) so that your shirts and dresses will be super easy to wash and wear, as they'll be more wrinkle resistant, more durable, and drape a bit heavier when worn. (While the fabric was produced in India, the dresses were all proudly stitched in Kenya by our team.)

I think this dress is over priced. $160 is a lot to pay for a garment. When I pay this much I expect excellent quality and it's just not here. The sleeves are tight and there is a worn spot/hole at the bottom of the covered buttonhole placket.
The dress is stiff and sticks out from the body below the waist. Information that accompanies the dress promises that after several washings the fabric will soften and hang better. I haven't done that so will need to see if that works.
The customer service was great. The dress arrived quickly and the notes from the company were well written, friendly and informative. In fairness to Zuri, I have not contacted them about this threadbare spot. It is small but at this price I expect perfection.FitRated 0.0 on a scale of minus 2 to 2Was this helpful?

This dress is fabulous! The color is beautiful and the fit is like it was custom made for me. I love the patterned Zuri dresses, but this linen cotton blend in this gorgeous color may be my favorite.
I had the pleasure of shopping g in your NYC store and loved the woman who helped me. It was delightful to see so many of the prints in person. I think these dresses may become my new uniforms!FitRated 0.0 on a scale of minus 2 to 2Was this helpful?

Sometimes you look in your closet and think, "is it just too hot out for sleeves?" I bought this gorgeous green frock in hopes that the answer would be "no, babe, put me on" and I was right! This is so airy and comfortable that I can wear it on scorchers and breezy afternoons. It is also a completely different vibe than Zuri's patterned dresses, so it makes a nice little change when I want to be more low-key.Was this helpful?
