Woven by India's oldest certified fair-trade artisanal weaving cooperative in West Bengal, these textiles are a dream! Each fabric is a hand-loomed blend of cotton and linen. We chose this blend for two reasons: 1) to create subtle texture and movement within the weave; and (more practically) 2) so that your shirts and dresses will be super easy to wash and wear, as they'll be more wrinkle resistant, more durable, and drape a bit heavier when worn. (While the fabric was produced in India, the dresses were all proudly stitched in Kenya by our team.)

Thank you for the speedy shipping. My High Point arrived in Melbourne (Australia) in time for the airport trip to pick up my mum who’s visiting from overseas - we last saw her 18 months ago. So happy to be able to wear the latest addition to my collection for the special occasion. Its lightweight fabric is perfect for our autumn day. The “quiet” print makes it versatile to throw over whatever’s underneath. It’s a high point from me for High Point 😉

I'm a recent convert to the hand-loomed in India Zuris. They're a bit more subtle in pattern than the ikat fabrics I know and love, but I adore the way these cotton/linen dresses drape—they're just a tad comfier and flattering in a less structured way. They're also breezier than most of my 100% Kenyan Zuris making them a smart choice for spring/summer in warmer cities.
The fabric on the dress I received seems a bit darker than in the product pics but I'm totally happy with it. It's worth noting that the fabric pulls at the bust a tiny bit more than most of my other dresses, so ordering the larger of my two sizes was the way to go here.

This beautiful dress is a departure from the more lively prints in my closet. The color is calming and the fabric is beautifully soft and hangs so nicely. Perfect for my train trip north for meetings today.

The slub of the cotton is almost like a lovely draping linen. Soft, easy to wear, and the blue color - while not great on me -- would be so pretty on lots of folks. This dress seemed a bit more slim fit than others.
